Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most commonly used to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) expectations for websites.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, starts with a skip link, and shows a visible focus outline.
- Text meets WCAG contrast requirements, including text placed over photography.
- Pages reflow to a 320-pixel-wide screen, support browser zoom to 200%, and tolerate increased text spacing.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative images and symbols are hidden from screen readers.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
How we test
Each change to the site is checked with automated accessibility rules (axe-core) and scripted browser tests at phone through 4K widths covering keyboard navigation, focus visibility, contrast, reflow, text spacing and target size. Automated testing cannot find every barrier, and we are adding regular manual testing with screen readers.
Known limitations
- The contact form prepares an email in your own email app rather than sending it from the site. If that is difficult to use, email us directly at davidgenaoit@gmail.com.
- Background photographs are decorative and are not described.
Report a barrier
If anything on this site is hard to use, please email davidgenaoit@gmail.com with the page address and what happened. We will reply as soon as we can and provide the information in another format if you need it.
